There’s a couple of things we did in Paris on the first day here that bear mentioning. A lot of the first day was strategic napping after the red-eye flight, but we did some cool stuff. What we’ve done most, though, is walk. On one walk we crossed a bridge near Notre Dame (see the picture above). Lovers come to the bridge and clamp the padlock the the side. They then toss the key into the Seine River to symbolize everlasting love. At the Cathedral of Notre Dame there’s parks all around. Families bring children to play on swings. The whole thing feels much less of a tourist trap than it should, because of the number of tourists. Honestly, we haven’t been in Notre Dame, yet. Soon, though.
